El Dorado High School Beginning Instruments
The mission of the El Dorado High School Music Program is to provide students with an enriching musical experience: to facilitate students in developing a level of musical growth that will enhance their quality of life and enable them to become lifelong advocates of music.El Dorado High School offers instruction and performance opportunities for a broad range of abilities and interests of our student musicians. Our groups have earned multiple honors and awards over the years while providing valuable enrichment to each student’s educational experience. El Dorado High School Cougar Music also contributes to the engaging atmosphere of Placerville: from the annual performances at Homecoming and home football games, our annual “A Taste of Main Street”, Placerville Christmas Parade, and our participation in various local choral and band music festivals.El Dorado High School is rich in tradition and an example of a fine musical program. However, this could not have been accomplished without the help of dedicated parents, alumni and community businesses.
